Individual Campus Visit

Available Monday through Friday, an individual campus visit includes a comprehensive tour of the campus, including the Maxcy Hall Athletic Complex, and an interview with an admissions counselor. Campus tours depart from the Office of Admissions every hour on the hour from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Your visit could also include:

  • Touring the Crane School of Music

  • Meeting a faculty member

  • Attending a class

  • Meeting a coach

Open House

Our Open House Programs, conveniently scheduled on Saturdays, provide our prospective students a wealth of information.  All programs include:

  • Campus Tours
  • Tour of the Crane School of Music
  • Academic & Student Services Fair
  • Lunch

Multicultural Weekend

SUNY Potsdam sponsors a bus trip from our major urban centers in New York so that students from our diverse applicant pool can experience our campus. Only students who have been accepted to SUNY Potsdam are eligible to participate. This year, Multicultural Weekend will be April 15-17, 2010.  View agenda and register now!

Regional Receptions:  Bringing the campus to you!

Join us on the road as we bring the campus to you.  Check out our locations across NYS to find a reception that is convenient for you.  Admissions Staff, faculty and current students will be present at each reception to share with you their own Potsdam experience and answer questions that you might have about the admissions process, academics and student life.
